I practice from a psychodynamic perspective. Psychodynamic therapy views the relationship of the therapist and client as the primary tool for discovering, evaluating, and reshaping the parts of your mind that are related to the problems you experience. I use an integrated approach to therapy, drawing heavily from attachment, psychoanalytic and object relations theories as well as evidence-based theories such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
